Whoever believes is never alone,” said Benedict XVI. Realizing that God is with you at every moment, that He is always within you, made me think as if we were all electric bicycles, but we go through life without turning on the motor.
The bicycle works, and we can pedal and move forward without the motor, but uphill it costs us a lot, and sometimes we are tired and cannot enjoy the scenery around us because we are pedaling nonstop. It would be better to turn on the motor to help us; you still have to pedal, but you will have great assistance from the motor and be able to enjoy the ride with more peace.
God is the motor of our life. We can go through life without Him, but it seems foolish and wasteful to me, because if we have a motor that will help us push forward, give us strength, and make the journey more pleasant—especially in moments of struggle—why not turn it on?
Why don’t we turn on the motor of our life, which is God? By turning on your motor, you can go through life calmly, confidently, joyfully, and assured that you can take any route. Life is no longer a path of stones and obstacles; instead, it becomes a peaceful ride through the park!
