Nuestra Historia
Artfidem is the result of a family devoted to both art and faith. My father, Álvaro, is the artist — a self‑taught painter who has been creating for 13 years. My mother, Leonor, has studied art history for over 20 years and is the one who writes the words that accompany his paintings. And I, Marile, their daughter, am the one who one day decided that this story deserved to go further.
That is how Artfidem was born. Not as a business, but as a mission: to bring faith, hope, and love into every home through art. The heart of every painting is spirituality — using art to inspire through the beauty of faith.

My mother and I began organizing the paintings, numbering them, and placing them into categories. My daughters, who were little at the time, would paint with my father, listening to him and enjoying every moment. It is something beautiful to witness — art and faith being shared between grandparents and grandchildren.
Then came the photos, the website, and Instagram to share everything with friends and family. Little by little, Artfidem took shape — a family project to evangelize the faith through art. In a world lacking hope, we wanted to bring joy, color, and faith through our work.

“My art seeks to express the richness of the inner world, the mystery of the human heart, and the way I see the extraordinary world around me.” — Álvaro
To make his work accessible to more people — since the original pieces are large-format — I created the Gallerybox: contemporary reproductions of his paintings with modern finishes. With our partners in Bilbao, the same studio that works with the Prado Museum and the Guggenheim, we achieve true museum‑grade quality. My father’s art, ready to hang in your home.
Artfidem does not sell art. It brings faith into your home. 🙏
